Terms and Conditions

By browsing doda.mx, creating an account or using the application at app.doda.mx (together, the "Service"), you accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the Service.

The Service is provided by Tótem Computer, a Mexican company based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

1. What the Service is

DODA.mx is a platform that automatically checks, on the user's behalf, the status of Documentos de Operación para Despacho Aduanero (DODA) published on the public portal of Mexico's tax authority, the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT). The user registers the integration numbers they want to monitor; DODA.mx polls that portal periodically, stores the history of changes and notifies the user through the channels they configured (email, browser push or WhatsApp).

DODA.mx does not file, amend, cancel or generate DODAs, pedimentos or any other customs document, and it is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed customs broker.

2. Independence from the SAT

DODA.mx is an independent service operated by Tótem Computer. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or associated with the SAT or with any customs or government authority. References to official institutions are made for descriptive purposes only.

3. User accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You may only register integration numbers for operations in which you have a legitimate interest (as importer, exporter, carrier, customs agency or a party designated by one of them).
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect fraudulent use, abuse of the Service or a breach of these terms.

4. Source of the information, accuracy and responsibility

All status information we display comes from the public SAT portal and reflects what that portal published at the time of the last check. The Service depends on the availability and behavior of that portal and of third party infrastructure providers.

We make reasonable efforts to keep high availability and a frequent polling cadence, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be free of errors, interruptions, delays or misclassifications. There may be temporary differences between what DODA.mx shows and what the official portal shows.

DODA.mx does not replace the official lookup and assumes no responsibility for any operational, logistical, commercial or legal decision you make based on our notifications. For any critical operation, always verify directly on the SAT portal and with your customs broker.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Monitor DODAs in which you have no legitimate interest or authorization.
  • Flood the SAT portal with excessive queries or try to bypass our usage limits.
  • Probe, scan, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Scrape the site or the application at scale for commercial purposes.
  • Distribute malware or carry out attacks of any kind.
  • Share your account with third parties to bypass the limits of your plan.

6. Plans, prices and billing

DODA.mx offers a free plan with limits and paid plans with greater capacity. Current features and prices are published on the pricing page. Prices are stated in Mexican pesos and may exclude taxes, which is disclosed at checkout.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before they take effect; the new price applies from the following billing period.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription or your account at any time from your settings panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no prorated refund for the unused portion, unless applicable law provides otherwise. When you cancel your account we delete your personal data and uploaded receipts, subject to the exceptions in the Privacy Notice.

We may also suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will give you as much notice as is reasonably possible.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design, trademarks, logos, guides and other content of the site and the application belong to Tótem Computer or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non exclusive and non transferable license to use the Service under these terms.

You keep all rights to the information you upload to the platform (DODA receipts, commercial data). You grant us a limited license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Tótem Computer and DODA.mx towards you for any claim arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event will we be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, cargo delays, storage or demurrage charges, reputational harm or loss of business opportunity.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold Tótem Computer, DODA.mx and their officers, employees and suppliers harmless from any third party claim arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of applicable law.

11. Changes to the Service and to these terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these terms; the date of the latest update appears at the top of this page. If a change is material and adverse to you, we will give at least 30 days' notice where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For their interpretation and enforcement, the parties submit to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, waiving any other venue that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
